Service Description

Expand Data for Google Sheets is an AI-powered address enrichment service that provides geocoding, business intelligence, and environmental data analysis directly within Google Sheets.

What We Offer

Address Enrichment Pipeline:

• T1 - Address Standardization ($0.01/address): Geocoding, coordinates, formatted addresses
• T2/T3 - Premium Analysis ($0.18/address): Everything in T1 plus business intelligence, environmental data (air quality, solar potential, pollen levels), and AI-powered insights

Service Features:

• Direct Google Sheets add-on integration
• Real-time processing with results delivered to your spreadsheet
• 48-hour recovery window for interrupted downloads
• Volume discounts: 10% off for 100-999 addresses, 20% off for 1,000+ addresses
• Privacy-first architecture with automatic data deletion after 48 hours

Your Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Ensure you have the right to process the data you submit
• Provide accurate data for analysis
• Not submit content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, abusive, or violates intellectual property rights
• Not submit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit our systems

Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
• Keeping your contact information current

Data Rights and Compliance

• Your Data: You retain full ownership of all data you submit
• Your Rights: You warrant you have necessary rights to process your data
• Compliance: Ensure your use complies with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA)

Billing and Payments

Credit System

Pricing:

• T1 (Address Standardization): $0.01 per address
• T2/T3 (Premium Analysis): $0.18 per address
• Volume Discounts: 10% for 100-999 addresses, 20% for 1,000+ addresses

Credit Purchase:

• Fixed amount: $5.00 USD credit packs
• Welcome Bonus: First 5,100 users receive $5.00 welcome credit (one-time)
• Credits never expire while your account is active
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts

Payment Processing:

• Processed securely through Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Payment methods: Credit card and debit card
• Currency: USD
• Applicable taxes added at checkout based on location

Refund Policy

Automatic Refunds:

• Processing failures due to system errors: Full credit refund within 24 hours
• Partial processing: Automatic refund for addresses that failed processing

Requested Refunds:

• Unused credits: May request refund within 30 days of purchase
• Processing fee: $2.00 deducted from refund amount
• Timeline: 5-10 business days to original payment method

No Refunds For:

• Credits used for successful analysis (even if results are unsatisfactory)
• Account violations or Terms of Service breaches
• Requests made more than 30 days after purchase

Service Availability

Uptime Expectation

We target 99.5% monthly uptime, but this is a goal, not a guarantee. We do not provide service credits or compensation for downtime.

Important Notes

• Processing times vary based on data complexity and system load
• AI-generated analysis should be reviewed and validated by you
• We may perform scheduled maintenance with 24-hour advance notice
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer

Expand Data is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including:

• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

Liability Cap

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the lesser of:

• The amount you paid for credits in the past 12 months, OR
• $500 USD

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

• Natural disasters, wars, government actions
• Internet outages, cyberattacks
• Third-party service outages (Google, Stripe)
• Third-party API changes (Google Sheets, Maps, Vertex AI)
• Regulatory changes affecting service functionality

Intellectual Property

Our Property:

• Expand Data, logos, and service marks are our intellectual property
• Underlying AI models and algorithms remain our proprietary technology

Your Property:

• You retain all ownership of your original data
• You may use analysis results for your business purposes
• We do not claim ownership of your data or results

Privacy and Data Protection

This Terms of Service should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which details:

• Data collection and processing practices
• Your privacy rights and controls
• Third-party integrations and data sharing
• Security measures and data protection

Both documents constitute our complete agreement on privacy and data handling.

Account Termination

By You

You may terminate your account anytime by:

• Contacting support@expanddata.com
• Following account deletion process in your account settings
• Unused credits refunded according to our refund policy

By Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Submit illegal or harmful content
• Leave account inactive for more than 2 years

Effects of Termination

Upon termination:

• Access immediately revoked
• All account data permanently deleted within 30 days
• Outstanding credits may be refunded at our discretion
• These Terms continue to apply to past use

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do:

• Users notified via email
• Material changes have 30-day notice period before taking effect
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• Previous versions archived and available for reference

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

Dispute Resolution

3. You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of class action
